He married Twila Trimble on August 3, 1979 in Pampa. He was a lifelong pipeliner, part owner and operator of Dimension Pipeline LLC of Pampa and Wheeler, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Vernon was a member of Carol Peet Ministries. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a devoted husband and father, and loved spending time with his family.SURVIVORS: wife: Twila Devoll of the home; 2 sons: Coy Ray Devoll and wife Stefani, and Clint Reid Devoll, all of Pampa; 1 brother: James Ottis Devoll and wife Mitzi of Pampa; 1 sister: Belinda Thomas and husband Rocky of Pampa; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.MEMORIALS: Sonja Nite Cancer Fund, c/o Carol Peet Ministries, P.O.
