SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Keith Roberson, officiating. Military honors are courtesy of U. S. Marine Corps, and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Jackson was born December 23, 1923 in Clay Center, Kansas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1927. Ray was a rig pusher for Windsor Well Service. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, serving during World War II. He participated in action against the enemy at Guadalcanal and Tarawa.SURVIVORS: 4 daughters: Bobbie Lee McIntosh, Penny Dunnington, Rhonda Gilpatrick of Lockhart, and Mary Ryals of Abbott; 2 brothers: Eddie Jackson and James Jackson, both of San Diego, California; 7 grandchildren.
