SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Skellytown, with Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor, and Jay Hammond, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Colley was born May 21, 1911 in Mena, Arkansas. She married William Ira Colley on October 7, 1927 in Hannibal, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1989. Marie had been a resident of Skellytown since 1945. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown, the WMU, Order of the Eastern Star, and was a matron of the Masonic Lodge. She supported the Disabled Veterans and Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch.SURVIVORS: a grandson: Leigh Colley and wife Minerva of Arlington; daughter-in-law: Betty Colley of Borger; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by a son: James Colley; and 2 grandsons: Linton Colley and Craig Colley.
