SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Thomas was born December 23, 1942 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She was a graduate of Ardmore High School in Ardmore, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Alabama. June was Miss Oklahoma from 1960-1961, and had a part in the television show "Gunsmoke." She had been a resident of Pampa since 1963. She was a member of The Woody Guthrie Folk Music Center.SURVIVORS: 3 sons: Brad Thomas of Phoenix, Arizona, Brent Thomas and Brennon Thomas, both of Pampa; a daughter: Tori Thomas of Houston; 1 sister: Toni Vackar of Houston; a granddaughter: Amy Thomas of Pampa.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity
