Marine Corps. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Robbins was born September 21, 1923 in Wichita, Kansas to Darwin and Ruth Robbins. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1955. He married Doris Graham on April 2, 1966 in Pampa. Dale worked as an engineer for Pantex from 1957 until 1987. He also worked as a realtor for Shed Realty from 1980 until 1992. He and Doris owned The Rock Shop for over 20 years. Dale was a silversmith and wood turner. He was a veteran of the U. S. military, serving under three different branches. He served with the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II, with the U. S. Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict, and during the Vietnam War with the U. S. Naval Reserve where he served for 29 years, retiring as a Sr. Chief Petty Officer. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1657, he was a mason and shriner, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: wife: Doris Robbins of the home; 2 sons: William "Billy" Robbins and wife Allyson of Annan, Scotland, and Mike Robbins of Pampa; 3 daughters: Donna Kay Brown and husband Jim of Frisco, Carol Alexander of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kathy Cota and husband Harold of Pampa; 9 grandchildren: Misty Alvey and husband Todd of Pampa, Mike Cota of Bend, Oregon, Leslie Girdner and husband Jeff of Frisco, Valerie Brown of Little Elm, Shana Dees and husband Gerald of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Danya Kraft and husband Jeramia and C. B. Trey Alexander and wife Tabitha, all of Bridgecreek, Oklahoma, Ryan Robbins of London, England, and Ashley Robbins of Annan, Scotland; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather: Les Parsley; and 2 brothers: Dwain Robbins and Jimmy Parsley.MEMORIALS: Calvary Baptist Jubilee, 900 E. 23rd, Pampa, Texas 79065, or V.F.W.
