Military honor courtesy of the U.S. Marine Corps. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Tucker was born August 11, 1931 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. Jim has been a resident of Pampa since 1943. He graduate in 1950 from Pampa High School. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Marine Corp. as a Sergeant. Jim married Janice Jones on September 21, 1957 in Pampa. He retired as Regional Manager of Grant Supply Co. after 18 years in 1982. Jim was a member of the First Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: Wife: Janice Tucker of the home; 1 daughter: Kelly Lee McElwain and husband Tom of Pampa; 1grandson: Evan McElwain of Pampa; 4 sisters: Hetty Jo Bynum of Amarillo, Pat Thomas of Joliet, Illinois, Dolores Miller of Littleton, Colorado, and Marilyn Haluska and husband Bob of Clyde, New York. Jim was preceded in death by a daughter: Jamie Kathleen Tucker in 1962; parents: J.H. "Bud" and Alva Tucker; a sister: Bonnie Grissom.MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church Building Fund, 203 N.
