Dallas Stringer, associate pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. McGahen was born October 10, 1936 in Shamrock to Ottice and Susie Kidwell. She attended Samnorwood schools graduating in 1955. She married Troy Ledbetter on August 28, 1955 in Samnorwood. He preceded her in death in 1996. She later married Charles McGahen on April 15, 1998 in Pampa. Odessa had been a resident of Pampa since 1965. She managed F. W. Woolworth and M. E. Moses until her retirement. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association, and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved camping and traveling, especially to Branson, Missouri. Odessa loved to read her Bible and spend time with her family. SURVIVORS: husband: Charles McGahen of the home; 2 sons: Jammy Ledbetter and wife Sherri of Fort Morgan, Colorado, Terry Ledbetter and wife Dee Anna of Howardwick; stepson: Dicky McGahen and wife Karen of Pampa; stepdaughter: Karen Sue Cook and husband Randy of Germantown, Tennessee; 3 brothers: Ottice Kidwell, Jr., and wife Gloria of Odessa, Bill Kidwell and wife Marylyn and Doug Kidwell and wife Judy, all of Pampa; 3 sisters: Bonnie Guthrie and husband Dan of Wellington, Shirley Andrus and husband Larry and Carolyn Taylor and husband Jackie, all of Pampa; 1 granddaughter: Lindsey Botello and husband Vivian of Pampa; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren: Avery, Boston and Baron; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
