SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, with Rev. Linda Kelly, rector of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hollis was born April 16, 1919 in Hoover. He had been a lifelong resident of Pampa, moving to the Fort Worth area in 2007. He married Dorothy Lynn on May 29, 1946 in Pampa. He worked for Cabot Corp. as an electrician, retiring in 1981. Tommy was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Pampa. SURVIVORS: wife: Dorothy Hollis of the home; 2 daughters: Karla Hayslip and husband Mark of Fort Worth, and Rolisa Twombly and husband Randy of Amarillo; daughter-in-law: Schelia Hollis of Gainesville; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: John L. Hollis on May 24, 2009; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
