Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. McGuffin was born January 22, 1936 in Eden, Texas. He married Lowanda Craft on May 19, 1957. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran serving from 1954 until 1962. He has lived in Lefors since 1980. He worked for Wagner's Well Service as a welder for many years before retiring. SURVIVORS: Wife: Lowanda McGuffin of Lefors. 2 sons: Allan McGuffin of Canyon and Don McGuffin of Dequeen, Arkansas. 1 daughter: Carolyn Hess and husband Bud of Lefors. 1 brother: Jack McGuffin of Tucson, Arizona. 1 sister: Vernell Lee McGuffin of Pikiau, Mississippi. 9 granchildren: Al McGuffin, Jr., David Roshto, Nick Hess, Cody Hess, Steven McGuffin, Ashlyn McGuffin, Terance R.C.
