Marie Jeannette Doggett

SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Renae Haiduk, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Doggett was born August 17, 1932 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She married Doyle Doggett on January 15, 1954. He preceded her in death in 2007. She had been a longtime resident of the White Deer and Pampa areas, moving to Pampa in 1958. She was a pre-school teacher at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church for nine years.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Jeannette Doggett Miller and husband Charley of Glen Rose, and Donna Doggett Stamp and husband Tom of Amarillo; 1 son: Tommy Doggett and wife Lori of Houston; 5 grandchildren: Ty Stamp of Flower Mound, Evan Miller of Los Angeles, California, Heath Miller and wife Kara of Glen Rose, Travis Doggett and Cameron Doggett, both of Houston; 4 great-grandchildren: Peregrine Stamp and Sage Stamp, both of Denton, Taylor Tice and Kyler Tice, both of Borger. Marie was preceded in death by her father: Andrew A. Buta in 1987; her mother: Ida Buta in 1989; 2 brothers: Andy Buta in 1985 and George Buta in 1994; and a sister: Eleanor Tereck in 1983.
