BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Kirkham was born March 20, 1940 in Borger to Adrian and Faye Earnest Kirkham. He attended Pampa schools from 1948 until 1957 when he moved to Amarillo, graduating from Amarillo High School. He was in band and swing band, playing the coronet, and was also a judge for speech debate. Bill married Barbara Whitney on June 19, 1959 in Pampa. He returned to Pampa in 1959 and worked for Diamond Shamrock for 41 years. He coached Little League baseball and football, was a Boy Scout leader in both Perryton and Pampa, and was a member of the Amarillo Racing Pigeons Club. In 1965, he was the Grand Master of Masons in Perryton. SURVIVORS: wife of 50 years: Barbara Kirkham of the home; 4 sons: William Kirkham, Jr., of Fritch, Kevin Kirkham of Dallas, Kurtis Kirkham and wife Shanon of Abilene, and Kevin Kirkham, Jr. and wife Angie of Pampa; 2 daughters: Kim Winegeart and husband Johnny of Pampa, and Kay Kirkham of the home; 7 grandchildren: Mandi Lunceford of Lubbock, Alicia Brewer and husband Ricky of Pampa, Lori Kirkham of Temple, Jared Winegeart and wife Robyn of Amarillo, Matthew Kirkham, Andrea Riley Kirkham and Katy Relelem Kirkham, all of Abilene; 5 great-grandchildren: Luke Lunceford, Whitney Lance and Anna Kirkham, all of Pampa, Devyn Lunceford of Lubbock and Tristan Winegeart of Amarillo; 2 brothers: Jim Kirkham of Fritch and Don Kirkham and wife Sue of Nederland.
