SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Fairview Cemetery with Glen Walton, minister of Bell Avenue Church of Christ in Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Johnny was born May 20, 1948 in Pampa and was a 1966 graduate of Pampa High School. He received a B. S. degree in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University and was an avid Texas Tech alumni supporter. He was a member of the Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: Brother: D. D. Lofton and wife Kerry of Pampa; stepfather: Richard McDonald of Amarillo; 3 nieces: Lori Gwaltney and husband Ryan of Opp, Alabama, Michelle Smith and husband Billy of Auburn, Alabama, and Lesli Beasley and husband Nathan of Fort Worth; aunt: Dorothy Gallimore of Pampa; and by several cousins.
