Lewis Ellis, retired Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Young was born July 23, 1931 in Blair, Oklahoma to Ernest and Myrtle Lee Bowman. She married Farris E. Young on December 24, 1947 in Vernon. He preceded her in death on January 28, 1997. She had been a resident of Lefors since 1977 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lefors. She was a generous and amazing woman who loved the Lord. Bonnie was a homemaker and she loved her family. She loved to work in the yard and around the house.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Mike Young and wife Anna, and Terry Young, all of Lefors; 2 daughters: Marilyn Burk of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Deborah Barnes of Pampa; 1 sister: Mary Boortz of Granbury; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren: special friends: Beverly Cooper of Lefors, Bob Hildreth of Pampa, and Steve King of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by a son: Rickey E. Young; 2 grandsons: David L. Young and B. J.
