Steve Cox, minister of St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Burns was born October 2, 1920 in Mosquero, New Mexico. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1933. She married Wylie Burns on August 3, 1956 in Clovis, New Mexico, and they reared four daughters together. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Her granddaughter, Gion, said Audrey was a woman who faithfully loved and served the Lord. One of her greater joys was to have her family over for big dinners. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Pampa Nursing Center for their love and compassion for both Audrey and Wylie. SURVIVORS: loving husband of 53 years: Wylie Burns of the home; 4 daughters: Glenda Garrison and husband David of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Jeannie Gates and husband Bobby of Livingston, Beverly Cox and husband Glenn, and Mary Woodruff and husband Gary, all of Norman, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a special niece: Pam Jonas and husband Randy of Pampa.
