SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jerry R. Lane, pastor of United Methodist Church of White Deer, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Randy was born Sept. 1, 1949 in Dumas and came to Pampa as a small child. He was a 1967 graduate of Pampa High School and attended North Texas State University in Denton. He married Pam Stevens on Nov. 27, 1968 in Amarillo. Randy was a car salesman for 20 years and worked for Country Chevrolet in Borger for 12 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He spent many years on the softball field as player, umpire, and fan. Randy loved fishing and watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. He was a great dad and loved his girls dearly. His grandchildren affectionately called him "Rando."SURVIVORS: Wife: Pam Harris of the home; 3 daughters: Kim Hogan and husband Bob of Pampa; Kelley Payne and husband Mark of Keller; and Kamron Nonhof and husband Patrick of Borger; his mother: Betty Harris of Pampa; 1 sister: Judy Osborn and husband Steve of Rowlett; 1 brother: Rick Harris and wife Cindy of Pampa; 4 grandchildren: Alex Lopez and Judd Lopez, both of Pampa; Rhett Payne of Keller; and Sam Nonhof of Borger; and 3 nephews: Brandon Osborn of Amarillo, Kevin Osborn of Spring, and Taylor Harris of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Harris, in 2007.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, TX 79065.
