David Mann Fatheree

SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, October 16, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Kenny Rigoulot, pastor, and Nancy Ruff, lay pastor, officiating. A private family burial will be at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: David was born February 24, 1966 in Fort Worth to J. David and Mary Fatheree. He attended Pampa schools, graduating from Pampa High School in 1984. David was a member of the Pampa High School State Champion Golf Team in 1984 and was a diver on the swim team. He attended Oklahoma University where he played on the OU Golf Team and was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He received a bachelor's degree in general studies from West Texas A&M University. David was a rancher and worked in the insurance business, and for a time, ran DLN Construction. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He married Natha Burckhalter on July 24, 2003 in Cozumel, Mexico. He loved to hunt, ride horses and working with his hands. He loved to design and build furniture. David was preceded in death by his father: J. David Fatheree; and a son: Dillon Joel Fatheree. SURVIVORS: wife: Natha Fatheree of the home; 3 children: Taylor Fatheree of Norman, Oklahoma, Garrett Fatheree and Madison Fatheree, both of Pampa; his mother: Mary Fatheree of Pampa; a stepdaughter: Mandy Morgan of Amarillo; his mother-in-law: Bobbie Kilcrease of Healdton, Oklahoma; and father-in-law: Max Burckhalter of Enid, Oklahoma.MEMORIALS: Ronald McDonald House, 1501 Streit Drive, Amarillo, Texas 79106, Pampa High School Golf Team, 111 E.
