SERVICES: 10:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Gary Hall, elder with Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Higgins Cemetery in Higgins, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Cloud was born April 17, 1919 in Herrington, Kansas, to Fred and Selma Houser. At an early age, she moved to Lipscomb County and graduated from Lipscomb High School. She married Homer Cloud on December 7, 1941 in Higgins. He preceded her in death in 1969. Marie operated the Eagle Café in Higgins for many years before moving to Pampa in 1958. She later worked as food service supervisor for Highland General Hospital and Coronado Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1983. She attended Trinity Fellowship Church.SURVIVORS: 5 sons: Dennis Carmen and wife Nancy of Georgetown, Guy Cloud and wife Charlotte of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Steve Cloud and wife Cathy, Bob Cloud and wife Wanda, and Alan Cloud and wife Cel, all of Pampa; a daughter-in-law: Renell Cloud of Pampa; 1 sister: Dorothy Sawyer of Wichita, Kansas; 23 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
