She graduated from Pittsburg High School and attended business college in Farmington, New Mexico. Jane married Jerry Dooley on June 8, 1946 in Girard, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1997. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1967, moving from Farmington, New Mexico where she had resided for 19 years. She was a shoemaker for a family business while she was in high school, and then she and her husband had their own shop in Leavenworth, Kansas. After moving to Farmington, New Mexico in 1948, she became a leather craftsman, making purses and belts. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church and was a volunteer at The Harvest House.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Linda Whatley and husband Bob of Pampa; 1 granddaughter: Amber Ickles and husband Chris of Amarillo; 1 grandson: Paxton Whatley and wife Kari of Pampa; 1 sister: Josephine Conrad of Springfield, Illinois; 4 great-granddaughters: Chloe, Olivia and Mattie Ickles, all of Amarillo, and Ella Whatley of Pampa; 2 great-grandsons; Corban Ickles of Amarillo and Easton Whatley of Pampa. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary and Joseph Rizzio; 3 sisters: Mary, Rosa and Matilda; and 3 brothers: Marian, Carlo and Joe.MEMORIALS: Trinity Fellowship Church Building Fund, P.O.
