SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Trinity Fellowship, with Rev. Ronnie Goode, associate pastor, officiating. Military honors are courtesy of U. S. Navy, and cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Dulaney was born December 25, 1924 in Stroud, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa most of his life. He and his wife farmed and ranched in Jericho and in Little Chief, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II. Harry married Cleta Fern Phillips in 1947 in Clovis, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on February 10, 1999. He was a Baptist. He enjoyed traveling to horse cutting shows with his friends, and he also raised and trained border collies. He was a lifetime member of the Texas Sheep-Cattle Dog Association. Harry always captivated his audience with his stories.SURVIVORS: daughter: Harriet Smiley of Pampa; son: John Harry Dulaney and wife Jerri of Houston; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and a special friend: D. L. Hale of Pampa. Harry was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Elizabeth Dulaney; a sister: Betty Lee Rushing; and a grandson: John Wayne Dulaney.
