SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, with John Curry, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Oler was born December 22, 1925 in Drumright, Oklahoma where she attended school and graduated from Drumright High School. She married Bill Oler on July 4, 1943 in Drumright. After Bill's retirement, they enjoyed traveling in their RV. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2004. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1952. When her children were young, she was an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts troops. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Retha was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her garden.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Ronnie Oler and wife Julie of Perryton and Steve Oler of Richwood; 1 daughter: Sandy Huddleston and husband Ernie of Pampa; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Retha was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity
