William J. Prock

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Mark Lance, minister of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Prock was born September 18, 1927 in Alanreed to Adli and Elizabeth Prock. He married Jo Ashworth on May 5, 1950 in Alanreed. He had been a resident of Pampa from 1952 until 2005 when he moved to Amarillo. Bill retired from Cabot in 1982 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1657, the N.R.A., and worked as a substitute teacher. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was a Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: wife: Jo Prock of the home; 1 daughter: Dannie Beth Prock of Amarillo; sister-in-law: Christine Prock of Amarillo; nephew: Robert Prock of Willis; and numerous cousins.
