SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Tim Roberts, Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Crocker was born on July 8, 1918, in Konawa, Oklahoma. He married Veta Bell, his wife of 71 years, on October 30, 1938 in Shamrock. He and his wife moved to Pampa from Wheeler in 1950. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2006. He worked for the City of Pampa for over 28 years, retiring in the early 80's. He was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge and a member of the Priest Park Church of God. He gained much enjoyment telling the old time stories about his childhood.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Sherry Garmon and husband David of Pampa;1 granddaughter: Lindsay Garmon of Pampa; 2 grandsons: Brandon Richards and Michael Crocker, both of Pampa. 2 sisters-in-law: Wanda Wright of Pampa, and Bernice Crocker of Clarendon. 1 brother-in-law: Bill Roberts of Pampa and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Crocker, in 2003; his parents, Ben & Emma Crocker; and by several brothers and sisters.MEMORIALS: Meals on Wheels, 302 E. Foster St., Pampa, Texas 79065
