Bruce Leon Hankins

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2009, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt of Grace Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hankins was born March 4, 1956 in Cushing, Oklahoma. He graduated from Portales High School in Portales, New Mexico in 1974. He had been a resident of Guymon for 15 years. Bruce was a former oilfield worker for Duke Energy Field Services in Guymon, currently working in various other oilfield construction sites for the past 5 years.SURVIVORS: father: Luther Hankins of Pampa, Texas; brother: Jeff Hankins of Weatherford, Texas; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother: Patsy Hankins on July 13, 2004.
