Carl Novian, associate pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Edmondson was born November 16, 1923 in Electra, Texas to Robert Levi and Nelma Edmondson. He was a 1940 graduate of Pampa High School. He married Charlotte Cline on March 9, 1945 in Marysville, Kansas while serving in the Air Force; she preceded him in death January 16, 2005 after 60 years of marriage. He was discharged as a 2nd Lieutenant from the U.S. Air Force in 1945 as a bombardier. After World War II, he and his wife became partners with his father in the Pampa Oilers professional baseball club. That partnership later purchased a ranch in Burlington, Colorado in 1950, where they helped build the First Baptist Church of Burlington. In 1962, they purchased a mountain ranch in Lake City, Colorado, known as Valley View Ranch. They were instrumental in building Edmondson Hall at the First Baptist Church of Lake City. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa for over 50 years, and he served as a deacon and greeter for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his son: Ron Edmondson on June 11, 2008.SURVIVORS: 1 granddaughter: Dr. Amy Edmondson Mulroy of Boerne. 2 sisters-in-law: Norma Stephenson of Pampa and Ann Berry Cline of Odessa. 2 special families: Lyle Johnson of Pampa and Ed Smith of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews. 2 great grandsons: Ian and Duncan Mulroy of Boerne.
