SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 2, 2009, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Richard Kasko, minister of Fritch Church of Christ in Fritch, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Tom Posey officiating.BIOGRAPHY: Tom was born on March 19, 1927, in Stamford, Texas to Thomas B. "Burley" and Mary Ethel Rogers. He graduated from Memphis High School in 1944. Before joining the U. S. Army in 1950, he attended Texas Tech University, worked with his father in the Gulf Wholesale Distributorship, and served in the Merchant Marines. Tom moved to Pampa in 1952 and went to work for the Cabot Corporation Machinery Division. He retired in 1989 from Ingersoll-Rand Oilfield Products Co.Tom will be remembered as an avid sportsman and for his love of game fowl and the people associated with the sport. He was a loving companion, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by his beloved companion, "Baby," and all who had the privilege of knowing him.SURVIVORS: Carolyn Chaney of the home; son: Tibby Rogers and wife Terrie of Borger; daughter: Dana Terry and husband Bebo of Pampa; sister: Louise Fowler of Memphis; grandson: Gainum Rogers of Ponca City, OK; 3 granddaughters: Mary T.
