SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Winkleblack was born June 10, 1917 in Sapulpa, OK. He attended school in Berlin, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1940 and was discharged on September 1, 1972. He received numerous awards during his military service. He married Lola Mae Goin on March 29, 1942 in Berlin, Oklahoma; she preceded him in death on January 21, 1998. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, and National Letter Carrier Association. He dedicated himself to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson; Douglas Winkleblack, parents; Alonzo and Lily Winkleblack, 4 brothers: Donald, James E., Clifton, and Robert Winkleblack, 1 sister: Wanda Mulkey.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Wendel L. Winkleblack and wife Linda and James Winkleblack and wife Pat both of Pampa. 2 brothers: Ferrell Winkleblack of Granada Hills, California and Ladd Winkleblack of Boise, Idaho. 1 sister: Eloise Dugan of Portland, OR. 2 grandsons: Wendel Winkleblack, Jr. and wife Donna of Amarillo and Tommy Winkleblack and wife Melissa of Amarillo. 2 granddaughters: Wendy Henderson and husband Mark of Midlothian and Paula Winkleblack of Amarillo. 6 great grandchildren: Chad Winkleblack, Ashlee Winkleblack, Chelsea Winkleblack and Kyra Moyer all of Pampa, Makenna Henderson and Hunter Henderson both of Midlothian.MEMORIALS: Favorite Charity.FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT 1000 SIRROCO.
