SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2009, at First United Methodist Church in Pampa, with Rev. Johnny Robertson, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Borger, and Byron Potter, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Adam was born August 31, 1982 in Amarillo. He grew up in Methodist parsonages across the Texas Panhandle with his little brother and best friend, Sean. Adam was a graduate of Dalhart High School. After graduation, he enjoyed a stint as a DJ at KXIT Radio. He later moved to Austin where he attended and graduated from Capital City Trade School. Adam was employed by the Austin Parks and Recreation Department and worked at Emma Long Park where he received an award for projects and innovations at the park. He was a gifted musician and artist. He was a fan of Texas Tech football, Dallas Stars hockey, and all things NASCAR. He was a hero to his younger brothers, and he will be missed by all who loved him. SURVIVORS: parents: Rev. Jeff and Karen Taylor of Pampa; 3 brothers: Sean Taylor of Denton, Travis Taylor and Landon Taylor, both of Pampa; paternal grandmother: Kathy Taylor of Lubbock; maternal grandparents: John and Ann Ball of Georgetown; many aunts, uncles and cousins, including his great-aunt: Gloria Gammill of Lubbock.
