SERVICES: Vigil will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2009, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hill was born May 18, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He married Carmanita Scott on November 2, 1956 in Cherryvale, Kansas. She preceded him in death on October 27, 2007. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1973. Bob worked for Cities Service for 37 years, retiring in May of 1994. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. He coached Pampa Dolphin Swim Club for 15 years. Bob was very active in each of his children's organizations as they grew up. His work ethics defined his children's adult lives.SURVIVORS: 5 daughters: Rhonda Hill, Renita Logan and husband Greg, Richelle Norris and husband Bruce, and Rene Hill, all of Pampa, and Rhea Oeser and husband Jared of Muskogee, Oklahoma; 4 sons: Randy Hill and wife Aubrey, Ronnie Hill and wife Tammy, Robbie Hill, and Richie Hill and wife Rachel, all of Pampa; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by a daughter: Robin Manzanares; a brother: Harold Eugene Hill; and a son: Raymond Hill.MEMORIALS: Masses or your favorite charity.
