SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor of First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Cannon was born January 21, 1939 in Clovis, California. She married Jesse Cannon on February 14, 1990 in Madera, California. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1992. Mrs. Cannon retired as assistant manager at Peggy's Place. She was an avid bingo player.SURVIVORS: husband: Jesse Cannon of the home; 4 daughters: Charlotte Nord of Springfield, Missouri, Peggy Smith and Donanne Woodruff, both of Pampa, and Barbara Leininger of Fresno, California; 2 sons: Eric Nord of Pampa and Bruce Konieczka of Madera, California; 1 brother: Bill Opperman of Orlando, Florida; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065.
