SERVICES: 3:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Reeves was born October 24, 1925 in Pampa where she was a graduate of Pampa High School in 1944. She married James A. Reeves on October 25, 1946 in Pampa. She retired from Pampa Independent School District after 20 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was involved in 4-H, FFA and Cub Scouts for many years.SURVIVORS: Husband: James A. Reeves of the home; 2 sons: James H. Reeves of Pampa and Ted T. Reeves and wife Kim of Cleburne; 2 sisters: Doris Walsh and Ida Ruth Price, both of Pampa; 4 grandchildren: Matt Reeves and wife Savanah of Dublin, Michel Simer and husband Bob of Axtel, Cody Reeves of Canyon and Casey Reeves of College Station; 3 great-grandchildren.
