Brian Christen, associate pastor of youth and education of First Christian Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery with military honors by Altus Air Force Base Blue Knights Honor Guard from Altus, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Ingrum was born August 11, 1914 in Pampa where he had been a lifelong resident of Pampa and Gray County. He was a 1931 graduate of Pampa High School and attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. George married Viola Haggard on October 28, 1934 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He was a third generation farmer and rancher in Gray County. He was a former fireman for the Pampa Fire Department and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. George was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps from 1940-1946 where he was a flight commander and flight instructor. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He helped found the Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.SURVIVORS: Wife: Viola Ingrum of the home; 1 son: Larry Ingrum of Pampa; 6 grandchildren: Brandi Yee of Honolulu, Hawaii, Christian Ingrum of Gunnison, Colorado, Geordan Montoya of Kingston, New York, Larie Pidgeon of Fishkill, New York, DeAnn Bivins and Dennise Howard, both of Pampa; 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; 3 nephews: Buddy Cockrell of Pampa, Lee Cockrell of Amarillo, and Scott Haggard of Boston, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by a son, Gerry Ingrum, on Jan. 15, 2008, and by a sister, Alice Gray, in 2007.MEMORIALS: First Christian Church, 1633 N.
