Jim Sinyard, associate pastor of Carpenter's Church of Pampa, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Rogers was born January 8, 1944 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a lifelong resident of Skellytown. She married Gene W. Rogers on April 11, 1960 in Skellytown. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1998. Janet was a member of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown. She enjoyed going on trips and outings with her husband and children, and she loved all the children in her neighborhood.SURVIVORS: 3 sons: Wes Rogers of Skellytown, Scott Rogers of Santa Ana, California, and Jack Rogers of Columbia, Missouri; 2 brothers: Jim Davis and Kenny Davis, both of Skellytown; 1 sister: Lynne Ricketts of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
