She married Delmar Newman on October 15, 1948 in Bremen, Germany; he preceded her in death on June 27, 2007. She has been a resident of Mobeetie since 1968 where she was a homemaker and a loving mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mobeetie where she loved to serve the Lord. She became a citizen of the United States in 1968. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 1 son-in-law and 1 grandson.SURVIVORS: 6 children: Nancy Craig and husband Orville of Pampa, Shirley Wadley and husband Jody of Okmulgee, OK., Robert Newman and wife Cindy of Amarillo, Bill Newman and wife Sherri of Elk City, OK., Martha Gardner and husband Terry of Allison, and Pat Newman and wife Marletta of Farmington, NM., 20 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Odyssey Health Care, The Atrium at Coulter Ridge, 6900 I-40 West, Suite 150, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
