SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, February 23, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Lewis Holland, nephew and retired Methodist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Miami Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Holland was born March 15, 1930 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, and attended St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she became an RN. Marjie married Bennie Holland on February 6, 1955 in Kellerville. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1981. She was a nurse for 42 years, the last 20 of which she served as an area nurse for the Texas Department of Health. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Koinonia Sunday School class and the Chancel Choir. She was a member of the Pampa Art Club and volunteered as a reading mentor for Pampa ISD. SURVIVORS: 1 son: Cliff Holland and wife Wendy of Stanley, North Carolina; 1 daughter: Marsha Baumann and husband Chris of Cypress; 1 grandson: Erik Baumann of Cypress; 2 sisters: Zelda McClellan of McLean and June Holcombe of Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marjie was preceded in death by her parents; Ernest Clifford and Mabel Simpson West; and a brother: Ernest West.MEMORIALS: First United Methodist Church, P.O.
