SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Glen Walton and Dean Whaley, ministers of the Bell Ave. Church of Christ, officiating.BURIAL: Military graveside rites will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery courtesy of Altus Air Force Base. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Rasco was born on July 7, 1921 in Sipe Springs, Texas. Kermit had been a lifelong resident of Pampa. He married Vera Louise Miller on June 6, 1946 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on February 19, 1995. Mr. Rasco was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during WWII. He retired from Cabot Corp. in 1983 after 33 years of service. Kermit was a member of Mary Ellen Church of Christ where he served as an elder for 24 years. He was preceded by a son K. E. Rasco, Jr. in 1950, a daughter Sharon Rasco in 1947, and 3 sisters: Dorotha Hernandez, Evelyn Hodges and Ruth Thomas.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Cynthia Ann Reed of Amarillo; 1 foster daughter: Glenda Bunch of Shamrock; 1 brother: James Rasco and wife Kay of Ball, Louisiana; 3 sisters: Peggy McBride of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Brenda Fitzgerald of Marrero, Louisiana, and Jackie Baker of Odessa; a brother-in-law: Frank Hernandez of Pampa; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.MEMORIALS: High Plains Children's Home, 11461 S.
