SERVICES: Vigil services will be at 6:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, and funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday, February 13, 2009, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Silva was born March 19, 1931 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Gregorio and Gudelia Silva. He married Natalia Villalon on January 29, 1955 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She preceded him in death on September 17, 1997. He moved to Roswell, New Mexico in 1966 and moved to Pampa in 1978. He retired from Zachary Construction in1993. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vacilisa Aguilar. SURVIVORS: 3 sons: Noe Silva and wife Aqueda, Pas Silva and wife Rosalva, Jose Silva, Jr., and wife Chrissie, all of Pampa; 2 brothers: Raul Silva and wife Eva of Friona, and Carlos Silva and wife Irma of Pampa; 5 grandchildren: Jaime Silva of Dallas, Christina Silva of Amarillo, Jessy Silva of Fort Worth, Fabian Silva of Lubbock, and Jeannette Garcia and husband Armando of Pampa; 4 great-grandchildren: Natalie Silva, Kenzie Silva and Lucas Ernesto Garcia, all of Pampa, and Amaya Carver of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews.
