Jacob Clemmens, former rector, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Pugh was born October 5, 1915 in Roberts County and had been a lifelong resident of Gray and Roberts counties. She was a graduate of Pampa High School and attended West Texas State University. Roberta married R. L. "Dick" Pugh on April 12, 1958 in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1977. She was the owner and operator of Roberta's Flowers from 1955 until her death. Her shop received the FTD award for 25 straight years from 1957 until 1982. She received the Teleflora award in 1981 and 1983 for the top one thousand members outstanding sales achievement. Roberta was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and Pampa Chamber of Commerce. She was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita "Sis" Massengale, in 2003.SURVIVORS: 1 sister: Minnie Olive Jackson of Pampa; 2 nieces: Nita Jo Tomlinson and husband Mart of Meadowlakes and Georganna Briggs and husband Ronnie of Amarillo; 1 great-niece: Cara Tomlinson of Austin; 1 great-nephew: Cliff Briggs and wife Melanie of Amarillo; 1 great-great-nephew: Chase Briggs of Amarillo; 1 great-great-niece: Shayne Briggs of Amarillo; and many cousins and extended family.MEMORIALS: St. Matthew's Episcopal Church Day School Scholarship Fund, 727 W.
