SERVICES: Memorial graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Lieb Cemetery in Morse, Texas. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Robinson was born April 29, 1942 in Riverside, California. He was a plumber in Amarillo for over 20 years. He married Virginia Mae Hilburn on March 29, 1966 in Wheeler. She preceded him in death on January 12, 1988. Bill moved to Pampa in 1984 where he was a plumber for several years. He also worked as a pipefitter for Phillips Petroleum for 8 years. Bill was active in the demolition of many of Pampa's abandoned homes, to help beautify the city. He was active with Alcoholics Anonymous where he maintained over 20 years of sobriety. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was a Baptist. SURVIVORS: 4 sons: Charles Robinson and wife Carol, Jack Robinson, Allan Robinson and wife Janet, and Gary Robinson and wife Cheryl, all of Pampa; 3 sisters: Dorothy Manning of Marietta, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Farmer of Amarillo, and Carol Davis of Lancaster, California; 9 grandchildren: Megan Robinson, Jonathan Robinson, Alyssa Robinson, Kaylee Robinson, Jason Hogue, Austin Robinson, Kyler Kitchens, Robert Hoover, and Jennifer Winegeart; 2 great-grandchildren: Kirsti Winegeart and Payton Winegeart; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends: Mary Green, Tammy Maple, Tollie Jinks, III, and Carla Smith.
