Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Stokes was born August 9, 1921 in Fitzhugh, Oklahoma. She married O. L. "Smokey" Stokes on February 5, 1938 in Altus, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1948 where she worked at Gibson's Discount Center, First National Bank, and most recently was a pharmacy clerk at WalMart. Lillian was a member of Lamar Full Gospel Church. SURVIVORS: Son: Danny Mack Stokes and wife Debbie of Pampa; brother: Dewey Wesson and wife Lou of Quanah; daughter-in-law: Linda Stokes of Pampa; 3 grandsons: Shane Stokes and wife Sandy of Pampa, Scott Stokes and wife Teresa of Meridian, Mississippi, and Casey Stokes and wife J. J. of Lubbock; 2 granddaughters: Kellie Stokes McKinney and husband Kyle of Keller, and Tammy Oakes and husband Ray of Perry, Oklahoma; 9 great-grandchildren; and her best friend: Una Covalt of Pampa. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband: O. L. "Smokey" Stokes; and 2 sons: Ricki Stokes and Ronny Stokes.MEMORIALS: Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S.
