SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, in Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. C. W. Parker, chaplain of Odyssey Healthcare, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Clark was born April 23, 1917 in Ellis County, Oklahoma. She spent her childhood in Oklahoma where she attended Oklahoma schools. Lela married Bert Clark on January 7, 1934 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in October of 1981. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1952. She was an excellent seamstress, working at several apparel stores in Pampa. She was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ for many years. Lela later married William Clark on July 28, 1990. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1991. She enjoyed reading and going to church, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. The family deeply appreciates the care shown by Coronado Healthcare Center and Odyssey Health Care.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Donna Carter of Clinton, Oklahoma; son: Gary Clark and wife Linda of Pampa; 3 grandsons: Mike Carter of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Gary Clark, Jr., and wife Whitney of Canyon, and G. Kyle Clark and wife Tracy of Corpus Christi; 2 granddaughters: Linda Coleman and husband Eddie of Flower Mound, and Leslie Mason and husband Gary of Edmond, Oklahoma; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Lela was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Leroy Smith, Virgil Smith and Eldon Smith; and a sister: Vada Smith.MEMORIALS: Odyssey Health Care, 6900 I-40 West, Suite 150, Amarillo, Texas 79106, or Coronado Healthcare Activity Fund, 1504 W.
