Elizabeth Holden Pepper

SERVICES: Memorial graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2008, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Brian Christen, associate pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Pepper was born January 30, 1926 in Balko, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Balko High School. She married Floyd Pepper on July 13, 1954 in Miami. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1990. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1959, moving from Borger. She was a member of the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star and was on the board of Phil-Pet Credit Union. Elizabeth was always involved in her children's activities such as Cub Scouts and Brownies, and she loved to garden. She was a former beauty operator and cosmetologist in Miami. She was a homemaker.SURVIVORS: Son: Jim Pepper and wife Robbie of Pampa; daughter: Jan Morrow and husband Kenneth of Decatur; brother: Chet Holden of Dumas; sister: Anna Holden of Denver, Colorado; sister-in-law: Juanita Holden of Surprise, Arizona; granddaughter: Stacy Pepper of Fort Worth; 2 grandsons: Aaron Pepper of Evanston, Illinois, and Matt Nichols and wife Amber of Waco.
