Richard Bartel, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Miss McDade was born December 11, 1951 in Amarillo and was a 1970 graduate of Amarillo High School. She attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, earning a degree in Psychology. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Kathy joined the U. S. Navy on September 23, 1977 and served until September 22, 1982, being honorably discharged with the rank of E5. After serving her country, she returned to the Panhandle to be closer to her family. She lived for her family and will be greatly missed. Kathy is with our Lord and endures no more pain. She was preceded in death by a sister: Billie J. Parker; and brother-in-law: Mark Parker.SURVIVORS: Mother and stepfather: Nelda and LoVell Kennard of Skellytown; father and stepmother: Walter and Grace McDade of Spearman; sister: Lee Tice and husband Mike of Skellytown; 2 brothers: Roger Kennard of Kansas and Eddie Rodgers of Spearman; niece: Kala Tice of Skellytown; 4 nephews: Kory Tice and wife Kara and Mikah Tice, all of Skellytown, Mark Parker and David Parker, both of New Braunfels; great-niece: Breklyn Tice of Skellytown; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
