SERVICES: Vigil services will be at 6:00 PM Sunday, January 4, 2009, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Deacon Barnabas Radke, officiating. Funeral mass will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2008, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Ravi, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Bransford was born May 19, 1924 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Fitzhugh and Opal Cooley. She married Byron Everett Bransford on February 9, 1942 in Marietta, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1991. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1987. Frankie worked as a legal secretary for Cabot Corporation, retiring after 18 years of service. She was a former resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Borger, Texas. She was a member of the Legal Secretaries Club of Pampa and the Epsilon Sigma Alpha of Pampa. Frankie was a volunteer at the Genesis House for more than 30 years. She was a paralegal counselor in Albuquerque for 8 years and received the Human Service Award from the Secretary of State of New Mexico. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and her patron saint was St. Jude.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Lisa Keifer and husband Ricky of Fritch and Dr. Angharad Young of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 2 grandsons: Matthew Keifer and wife Rachel of Amarillo and Treyce Keifer of Lubbock; 3 granddaughters: Alison Howard and husband Rick of Santa Clarita, California, Stephanie Parker and husband Eric of Norman, Oklahoma, and Cassidy Keifer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 4 great-grandsons: Jackson Howard, Alexander Howard, Ryan Howard and Samuel Parker; 3 great-granddaughters: Annemarie Parker, Sophie Parker and Alyssia Ramirez Keifer; nieces: Cindy Huckabee and husband Ronnie, and Rose Ann Thedford and husband Mike, all of Graham, Sharon Johnson and husband Lynn of Gainesville, and Susan Clifton and husband Col. Jeff Clifton of Fairbanks, Alaska; nephews: William M. McClendon and wife Debbie of Graham and Bob Bransford and wife Pam of Gainesville; many great nieces and great nephews.
