SERVICES: Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Goodner was born July 7, 1912 in Oden, Arkansas. He married Lindora Holley on November 7, 1934 in Wellington. She preceded him in death in 1972. He and his family lived in Pampa for a short time where he was a member of the First Assembly of God. He served as song leader at the church from 1945 until 1948. He and his family moved to Borger where he went to work at Phillips 66 as an electrician. He retired in 1974 after more than 29 years of service. He returned to Pampa in 1987. He lived his last years with his daughter's family where he was surrounded by love and music. His home, church, music and work were the most important things in his life. SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Edna Smith and husband Gary of Pampa, Lonita Tucker and husband Carol of Lewisville, and Linda Chapman and husband Roy of Phoenix, Arizona; 1 son: Bracy Goodner and wife Hanna of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren: Brent Chapman, Rick Chapman, Loren Harmon, Paul Goodner, Mark Goodner, Donny Goodner, Janet Kline, Andora Roberts, Sherry Wilcox, Tamara Griffith, and Eva Wallace; 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lonnie was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Grace Adair, Imogene Francis and Carolyn Meacham; 3 brothers: Haskell Goodner, Olen Goodner and Mack Goodner; 1 infant son: Arvin Dale Goodner; and 2 grandchildren: Denise Chapman and Bradley Harmon.
