SERVICES: Vigil will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2008, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Joseph Ravi, pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 AM Friday, December 19, 2008, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.ENTOMBMENT: Memory Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Kay was born October 11, 1921 in Braddock, Pennsylvania. She married Elmer Mytryk on October 11, 1952 in Braddock, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2005. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. She was employed by Furrs Supermarket as a checker for 25 years, retiring in 1986. SURVIVORS: 3 sisters: Mary Kostyak of Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, Theresa Crouch of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Delores Carson of Davisville, West Virginia; 2 brothers: Joseph Mirenzi or North Versailles, Pennsylvania, and Dom Mirenzi of Sutter Creek, California.
