SERVICES: 10:30 AM Thursday, December 4, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Lefors, with Rev. Chris Webb, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM Thursday, December 4, 2008, at Union Hatchett Cemetery in Bessie, Oklahoma with Rev. LeeRoy Musick of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Musick was born March 26, 1960 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. He came to Lefors in 1979 from Oklahoma. He attended schools in Clinton, Oklahoma and White Deer. He was a plumber and later became a pipefitter journeyman. Gene was a caring man with a good heart. He would put in a hard days work to help a person in need. He was always there for the people who needed him. He was your smile when he walked in. SURVIVORS: Father: Bobby Musick of Lefors; mother: Bonita Musick of Lefors; brother: Darwin Musick of Monticello, Arkansas; 2 sisters: Kathy Tinney and husband Don and Pam Franks and husband Steven, all of Lefors; 2 grandmothers: Mary Music of Hobart, Oklahoma, and Ruth Canaday of Lefors; nieces and nephews: Johnathon Tinney, Jonelle Combs and husband Tad, Dustin Musick, Carie Johnson and husband Mark, Devan Franks, Brook Franks and Madison Franks. Gene was preceded in death by his grandfathers Carl Music and Darwin Canaday, and his grandmother Jessie Music Hubbard.
