SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery, with Eastern Star rites courtesy of Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Alexander was born August 3, 1918 in Gray County where she had been a lifelong resident. She married Verson Alexander on May 16, 1937 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1988. She worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 35 years as a rural carrier. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.SURVIVORS: daughter: Lora Baggerman and husband Ruben of Groom; 7 grandchildren: Isaac Baggerman and wife Jeana, Margie Anthony and husband Stan, Teresa McKelvey and husband Butch, John Mark Baggerman and wife Lora, Chad Alexander, Robert Alexander, and Kristin D'Oka and husband Mike; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Verson Alexander and Charles Alexander.MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 621, Pampa, Texas 79066-0621.
