She had been a lifelong resident of Pampa. She married Cecil Barnett on September 30, 1942 in Dumas. He preceded her on January 4, 1994. She was a member of Hobart Baptist Church and the Gray County Extension Service.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Jerry Barnett and Eddie Barnett, both of Pampa; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Joe Barnett in 1987; a brother: Ray Ford; a sister: Alice Troth; and her parents: Joe and Nora Ford.
