Steve Cox, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Pampa, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the directions of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, officiating.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Kretzmeier was born March 23, 1914 in Pernell, Oklahoma. She married Roy Kretzmeier who preceded her in death on November 23, 2002. Ellen and Roy had been residents of Pampa, Texas from 1932 until they moved to Lake Palestine, Texas for their retirement years. They were both members, and held top state offices as president and grand master of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs. Ellen was a sponsor on the United Nations trip to New York, sponsored by the IOOF, the only organization with this honor. After Roy's death, Ellen moved to Tyler, Texas, and later to Mercedes, Texas, and in 2006, she moved to Aiken, South Carolina. SURVIVORS: 1 son: LeRoy Kretzmeier and wife Gladys of Aiken, SC; 2 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
