Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, Texas.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Gilbreath was born August 9, 1935 in Pampa, Texas, to J. C. and Ruby Clemmons Gilbreath. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving from 1956 to 1958. He married Londa Thomas on September 12, 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Pampa. Lindsey worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company for 35 years, retiring in 1995. In 1997, he moved to Kerrville, Texas where he was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to his wife, children and grandchildren who will miss him dearly. Lindsey's hobbies were gardening, hunting, fishing, snow and water skiing. He enjoyed RVing, listening and dancing to country western music, spending time with his grandchildren, and having coffee with his friends at Rio Robles retirement community in Kerrville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Sidney Gilbreath. Pallbearers will be Richard Gilbreath, Timothy Gilbreath, Christopher Gilbreath, Gary Bolch, David Allen Bolch and Matthew Bolch. Honorary pallbearers will be T. W. Bolch, David Thomas, John Thomas and Bob Thomas.SURVIVORS: wife of 49 years: Londa Thomas Gilbreath of the home; 2 sons: Michael Gilbreath and wife Mary of Farmington, New Mexico, and Steven Gilbreath of Houston, Texas; 4 grandchildren: Richard Gilbreath and wife Amanda, Melissa Gilbreath and Timothy Gilbreath, all of Farmington, New Mexico, and Christopher Gilbreath of Garland, Texas; 2 great-grandsons: Andrew Gilbreath and Zakkariah Gilbreath, both of Farmington, New Mexico; 1 sister: Norma Bolch and husband Travis of Pampa, Texas; 1 brother: Norman Gilbreath and wife Elaine of Farmington, New Mexico; and sister-in-law: Jean Gilbreath of Enid, Oklahoma.
